The Graduate School and Beijing Jin Aosheng Investment Advisory Co. jointly held an advanced course of practice in mergers & acquisition from April 16 to 18. Twelve persons attended this course, who were all core members of large-and-medium sized enterprises, security corporations and fund management corporations. This course was presided by Dr. lv Ruhan, the dean of Li Jiacheng advanced studies college of Hong Kong Public University, and Mr. Zhang Jianwen, an expert on MBO from Guotaijunan securities. Through such an intensive training, the students got a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the operation, policy and trend of mergers & acquisition both in and out of China, thus effectively enhanced their ability both in theory and practice. The originally five-day course was compressed to three days because of SARS.
