The windy and sand-rising weather can still be seen in this year's spring in Beijing. On Mar. 12th, the National Green Committee delivered ¡°Issues about Pushing Forward Nationwide Voluntary Tree-Planting and Land Afforest Process¡±, and proposed to devote major efforts to carry forward this nationwide activity under the lead of Three Representatives, aiming at promoting sustainable development and improving living quality. Not long before, the Beijing people's government and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad officially declared ¡°Program for Beijing's Olympic Operation¡±.

Leaders of the graduated school stress on and very much support the ¡°Green Mountain, Clear Water, Green Land and Blue Sky program for Beijing 2008¡±. Under the direction of lead teachers£¬The party branch and class committee of grade 02 decided to organize a voluntary tree planting activity, combined with Huaxia bank beijing branch¡£All the students showed strong interest in this activity. After intense preparation, on Apr. 5th¡ªthe 19th Citywide Voluntary Tree-planting Day, a program under the theme of Green Olympian and Ecological City was carried out.

Though there was strong wind, it could not stop the planting group. Under the lead of teacher Huang Renkun¡¢Qi Liangui¡¢Niu Junyou and Zhao Jidong£¬the motorcade with banner set off at 8 o'clock sharp. Overcoming a road-long tossing and carsickness£¬they arrived at Shunyi planting area. First of all, participants listened carefully to the working personnel talking about planting steps and points for attention. Then with instructions each group got their tools, saplings and working field and soon got into the intense work with great interest.

The students were all high-spirit and vigorous, and competing with each other automatically. Even the accompanying teachers and comrades in Huaxia bank have joined into this passion, male and female, old and young, all full of militancy and drive.

At noon, there's a short rest. They sat together, chatting about today's impressions. Learning that the national leaders were also digging, planting, watering in Beijing Olympic Forest Park, everyone was deeply encouraged and quickly forgot about tiredness and got to work again in spite of the hot sunshine. In the end, there were more than one hundred fast-growing poplars planting in total, successfully accomplished the planting assignment. Such result was highly praised by the afforest committee.

Through this activity, all the students have learned the importance and urgency to protect human beings living environment. Such movement has also raised people's sense of duty for the society, cohesion and capability of our party branch as well as training students'collectivism.

The comrades of Huaxia bank said: ¡°It is really meaningful to attend such activity. As a Beijing citizen, everyone should do something for the capital's afforest, to make the sky much blue, the land much green and the water much clean.¡± The lead teacher expressed the wish of all the participants: it's a great thing to bring a green leaf and a blue sky to our country. Members of the Party should be a pioneer, using real actions to change the barren hills.
